Johnson/Evinrude (BRP) Spark Plug Lead Assembly (0582365)
The 0582365 is a genuine OEM spark plug wire (high-tension lead) designed for Johnson and Evinrude outboard engines. This lead is responsible for delivering the high-voltage electrical charge from the ignition coil to the spark plug.
Built with heavy-duty, marine-grade silicone insulation, it is specifically engineered to prevent "arcing" (voltage leakage) and to withstand the harsh, corrosive saltwater environment that typically degrades standard automotive wires.
Product Features
-
OEM Integrity: Genuine BRP (Bombardier Recreational Products) part ensures the exact resistance required for CDI ignition systems.
-
Double-Booted Design: Features high-temp silicone boots on both ends to provide a moisture-tight seal against the coil and the spark plug.
-
Compact Length: This is a 4-inch (101.6mm) or 6-inch (152mm) lead (depending on the specific production batch/sub-model), designed for tight routing on CrossFlow and Looper engine blocks.
-
Corrosion Resistance: Equipped with stainless steel or brass terminals to prevent terminal rot in high-humidity areas.
-
RFI Suppression: Designed to reduce electromagnetic interference with fishfinders and GPS units.
