JL Audio MMR-40 MediaMaster NMEA 2000 Network Remote Controller
The Ultimate Full-Function Command Station for Your Marine Audio System.
Why settle for basic volume control when you can have a complete secondary station? The JL Audio MMR-40 is a premium, full-featured NMEA 2000® network controller engineered to mimic the exact user experience of your host MediaMaster® source unit.
Designed for transoms, swim platforms, flybridges, or master cabins, the MMR-40 automatically recognizes your main stereo unit upon connection. It mirrors all host controls and screen info onto its own crisp, full-color 2.8-inch LCD display. It’s not just a remote—it's like having a second MediaMaster head unit exactly where the action is.
Plug-and-Play Simplicity Over NMEA 2000®
Forget running complicated proprietary cables from the helm to the back of the boat. The MMR-40 utilizes a standard NMEA 2000 Micro-C connector to interface directly with your boat's existing network backbone. If your vessel doesn't have a NMEA 2000 network, you can simulate an isolated, standalone hookup using a JL Audio powered network cable (sold separately) for a clean, hassle-free installation.
Key Features & Benefits
-
Mirrored 2.8-Inch Color Display: Displays your track titles, artists, radio bands, and menu items in high-brightness, crisp 320 x 240 resolution.
-
Complete Control Layout: Outfitted with 8 heavy-duty backlit pushbuttons and an oversized rotary knob, giving you total command over volume, source selection, zone levels, and menu navigation.
-
Independent Lighting Themes: Set your remote’s display theme (Day/Night modes) and brightness settings independently from the helm unit—perfect for low-light night fishing or dark cabin installations.
-
IP66 Weatherproof Construction: Built for real-world marine duty. The rugged chassis shrugs off heavy water spray, intense salt air, and blistering UV rays.
-
Low Network Load (LEN 4): Draws minimal power from your boat's NMEA 2000 network (just 200 mA), preventing network strain.
Total System Command Anywhere On Board
The MMR-40 grants you complete access to all main MediaMaster® functions:
-
Power On/Off & Source Selection
-
Zone Volume Adjustment & Linked/Unlinked Zone Control
-
Subwoofer Trim Level Tuning
-
Track Skip, Fast-Forward, Rewind (USB & Bluetooth®)
-
Access to 24 Saved Radio Favorites/Presets
